As you may know I’m currently in year 12, and working with world mythologies as my theme – you can see my folio proposal, for more background info on content.
And now portraiture has been decided for subject matter – This is where you are involved!
I will need a few reasonably high definition (or just clear) photos of you, these can be from any angle and with any expression or amount of dramatisation. A variety of both would be recommended and preferred, however the most crucial (to begin with and learn your features from) would be a front on, with a placid expression and one which clearly shows your features.
What I’d like is to get as many submissions as possible, from women/girls/foxy ladies from the following ethnicities: Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Greek, Norse (Scandinavian), Slavic (Russian, Polish etc) and Celtic.
Hair and eye colour does not matter – I’ve allocated certain colour to each mythological school and it will be done in that colour range. You don’t technically need to be of those origins, but authenticity is something I would be more likely to go for – something that truly shows the characteristics of those origins.
I am only doing one portrait of each of these races, so places are limited and yet still needed to be filled. Don’t take offence if you are not chosen, your participation is really appreciated. I will post the winners once this concludes. (date to be announced.)
